Finding Your Life’s Purpose

Finding your life’s purpose

is the same as finding your soul’s purpose. Imagine your life from a bird’s eye view; pan out a little further than your home life, and notice all the people, creatures, places and objects that are connected to you.

Some connections are big and some small, but they all have an energetic thread, creating a pathway. A person who doesn’t know their soul’s purpose may drift like a jellyfish, reacting when they bump up against things, hoping they don’t wash ashore. Opposite the jellyfish is the honeybee. A honeybee person moves through their day completing rote tasks hoping nothing pops their comfort bubble.

Whether you’re a jellyfish, a honeybee or any unique combination thereof, finding your soul’s purpose starts with quieting the noise in your mind. All humans in the modern world are inundated with messages from radio, TV, family, friends, and video, after video, after video…

Quieting all that noise and letting your thoughts settle down, while remaining conscious is the ancient practice of meditation. Meditation is the key to illuminating those energetic connections that help you better choose your pathway, and just as importantly, shift your pathway, as needed.

To sit in meditation, with the mind quiet, brings one into divine connection. As it’s been for millennia, the ultimate purpose of this type of mystical meditation is to be in the presence of the creator aka the universal mind or god. In this meditative state of peaceful receptiveness, your life’s purpose begins to form in your head and connect to your heart. When the head and heart align, you are on the right path.

Keeping your mind clear and focused while making the best choices for yourself and for those connected to you is a lot of work. Meditation is a tool to help get you there. Meditation settles the mind so you can operate from a sense of calmness and well-being. Meditation fosters impulse control. With practice, meditation will open the subconscious mind. When the subconscious mind is open, with the ego-self resting, you open the pathway to sit in the presence of the universal mind. Your life’s purpose is in you, of you and all around you. Doing the right thing and being on the right path for your life isn’t about winning or being better than anyone or anything. It’s about creating the space in your mind, body and soul that illuminates the energetic thread that guides you on your authentic-life purpose. A pathway where you find peace with yourself and space to grow.

I’ve been working in the healing arts for thirteen years by teaching yoga, pranayama and meditation.

-I’m a certified hatha yoga teacher and I continue to study shamanism and herbalism as a hobby.

-I have a bachelor's degree and am an ordained minister in metaphysics.

-Since childhood, I’ve received information by clairsentience (feeling), clairaudience (hearing), clairvoyance (seeing) and claircognizance (knowing). As an adult, I wanted to learn more about why this happened, which is how I found myself studying the mysteries and metaphysics.

-It became clear as I studied metaphysics that I wanted to help others..

-I feel all beings are energetically connected.

-I am an empath.

-I see god in everything.

-My dog, Kona, and I are trained to give comfort in schools, hospitals and hospice-care.

-I feel called to give hope by helping others develop intuitive guidance and create a spiritual practice.
